You've got a topic "Network Status - Important information regarding service outages or network issues" which has never been used. I would think this is a good place to centralize info like the server updates. I think we've had so many problem threads put up because there's no clear place where people would know they should go. (Aside from those who post without reading anything first :roll: ) Too late for the current overflow of posts, but remember it for the future.

Totally agree. To even look at each thread re the mess of migration is discussed takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r because this forum is so slow to load. However if you look at the Board Index there is only one Admin ever logs in. NO Moderators or helpers or Tech Team........... short of staff? May explain the 6 weeks this has taken to sort out and it is not really acceptable any more.

I have to agree, I don't think the problem is down to Chris, She is doing the best she can in an Appalling situation and getting it in the neck from every angle as she is the only point of contact, not only on here on Freeforums but also YUKU and Lefora. It is down to the rest of the management of this company that is the problem, The Support forums should be manned 24/7 by staff in all times zones so there is somebody to help and answer our questions in a very short time frame, rather than leaving it all on Chris's shoulders, i'm sure she must feel like pulling her hair out at times.

If i was Chris i would be kicking off big time to her bosses about this as it is unfair to her and also unfair to us the paying customers. WAKE UP BOSSES _ YOU NEED MORE SUPPORT STAFF - AND NOW !!!!!!

What happened to the rest of the support staff ?
Who is actually doing the Fixing ?

It would have been a better method to have had one place where we were updated twice a day (Morning and evening on progress on all of the issues, no matter how small the progress was made we should be kept in the know about this, so at least we then have information to pass on to our members to stop them guessing and sadly leaving.

Demon Shine I assure you I was not criticizing Chris - I feel for her and I think it is a disgrace she has been left to PUBLICLY deal with this mess and answer all queries. I am sure you are correct and that she is pulling her hair out. My point was that there seems to be a huge vacuum where there should be someone jumping on every comment immediately to give assurance instead of one person seeming to deal with all of this and the customers losing the will to live and confidence in the whole system.

Rest assured Christine i knew you were not criticizing Chris and totally agree with your comments,
Freeforums should be helping Chris and staffing the Support forums fully, and not leaving it all down to one person.
We can only hope that our voices get heard by the people at the Top and Chris gets the help that she should have been getting from the start. Only when that is done will all of the issues be sorted out fully and permanently. :)

Hear Hear! Customer service is one of the hardest jobs there is, and Chris does a great job with what I'm sure is not much backup in the form of information and details. As the OP on this thread, I've seen how hard it is to keep the info in one place over the last month, especially when you've got people posting in several places who all need to be answered where they ask. I think it's a losing proposition for any forum to try to keep things in order without employing the "forum police". I certainly can't do it :?
