I'm pleased to announce our phpBB3 hosting platform is now live. Users can signup for a phpBB3 forum off our main signup page.

I'd like to thank the FreeForums.org tech team, Cero and Aaronium, for working 50-60 hour weeks over the past few weeks in order to make this launch possible. I would also like to thank our loyal customers for sticking with it so long. This is a small part of a huge plan we have for our v3 platform, and it starts with this initial release.

We will be working hard over the next few weeks to finish adding features and fixing bugs in order to create the best possible forum hosting solution.

Just wanted to give everyone an update: We will be starting upgrades tomorrow. More information will be posted at a later time.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up we'll be postponing the conversion process until we work out some DNS related issues with the current V3 forums.

As converted forums will also be affected by this issue it makes sense to fix it now rather than convert hundreds of thousands of forums into a V3 platform with DNS issues.

We will post here when updates are available.

Just wanted to remind everyone we've not forgotten. In fact, we've been working 10 hours a day on it and we hope to finish soon.

We will be starting the transfer queue late Monday/early Tuesday. Please note forums are converted in the order in which they are requested.

We will be launching the converter for English only forums shortly.
