Post Shadow Topics
I would like to remove Shadow Topics without deleting the Original Topics on my forum.
Also, I see the FF Quote System strange since it doesn't display the box anymore.
I would also like to add those news slides located in the bottom of the header as well.

Post Re: Shadow Topics
Hi there,

To remove shadow topics, go to the forum where the shadow topic is listed then click "Moderator Control Panel". From there, all topics will be listed and shadow topics will have a link next to them that gives you the option to delete the link. Click this and confirm!

If you change to a different style temporarily such as Prosilver then Subsilver2 does the problem still occur?

What are these "Slides" that you refer to?

Hello,
The forum you've screen-grabbed above is not hosted by us, and unfortunately the marquee-style boxes for a portal are not avaliable on the FreeForums.org system, sorry.

Alright, what about the quote system. The quoting box isn't displayed anymore.

Good day,

To change your style, log into the ACP, click Styles to the lower left, and then find a style in the New Styles tab to install. After you install it, set it as the default style.

Hello Hector822,
Are you in the Advanced Admin Control Panel? (You can switch between simple and advanced at the top-right hand side of your ACP.)

If not, click 'Advanced Admin Panel'.
If you are, are you the original creator or a 'founder'? You may not have the correct permissions to manage the styles.

Ok Hector822, let us know how that goes.

If you want the ability to change it yourself you'll need to ask a founder/someone wit the correct permissions to alter the administrator permissions and et it so you can manage the board style.

i have no options to delete anything....anywhere. i am quite frustrated.
am i supposed to be looking at the "actual" shadow post itself and then click the moderator control panel or the forum where the is? either way, i have not options or see anything that offers me the delete option?

i have RedSilver_C installed

Hello,
Go to the forum where you see the shadow post and click "Moderators Control Panel". You'll see the list of topics and next to the shadow topic there should be a remove/delete link.

first, when i look at the forum, i am looking at the list of topics, i can see the shadow topic. but when i click on the "moderators control panel", i no longer see the shadow topic. so now i don't have anything to delete. is there no other way to delete it from the administration panel? i am the only administrator for the site and this is really beginning to irritate me.
