Thanks for the welcome everyone! We have some major changes planned that will effect all of your forums as well as the TOS so please pay good attention to the following:

1. You must have fun on your forum at least some of the time
2. You have to give us feedback on what we are doing once in a while
3. This site and all of our forums will be moved to better and faster servers that might unortunatey make your forums run faster
4. This list is me being silly

We are here to help provide resources to get the site run quickly and smoothly. Nothing dramatic will happen. We will also continue working with the existing support and engineering team so there does not need to be an awkward transition or learning curve. Do you mean to PM him on this site personally? Because i found no email in that thread. So if you meant PMing him he hasnt been on here since "Last visited: Fri Oct 22, 2010 11:55 am"!!!! So if anyone PMs him, you might have a long wait for a reply. LMFAO!

These claims of improvements were made over a year ago.

My suggestion is to find out who Mr. Sanjay really is and all about before getting your hopes up.

I am starting to notice the FORBIDDEN ERRORS picking up in more frequency again. Here i thought maybe, just MAYBE the problem was getting better. But its not. Today the Forbidden Errors are running RAMPANT on my forum.

Also i am noticing the images are disappearing and reappearing again on my forum....

I got error messages attempting to log into the ACP a couple of times tonight. I had closed the forum for awhile, but recently had done redesign work to re-open. Was waiting for the image issue to be resolved. Bahh! Had problems in ACP with odd things happening in install/uninstall styles. Closed sign is back. Not worth the headaches. Can't imagine how folks with active forums are managing.

LOL... i think they been ignoring them / issues.... thats ok, hopefully i have found a solution to personally dealing with this.

My new forum is doing the error 403 you dont have permission thing, its taking me 3 or 4 attempts to get onto my forum and its doing the same as I try to navigate around it.

Problem back again I see - "forbidden 403". Come on guys, we thought this was fixed?

I am sick of it now so are my members .. i am seriously thinking of opening a forum somewhere else!!

Good news i no longer get the forbidden error message or the dispersing images problem my new host is great, only draw back i have is i had to start from scratch as free forums with held my data base ,which isn't really a problem as most of my members had left anyway, good news is i have most of them back.

Try *removed - no advertising*, http://*removed - no advertising*/ Its a MyBB free forum. But you get a lot of plugins(mods) to use. Even ones you had to pay for here to use, they are free on there. Plus you get a lot of freedom customization wise of how your forum looks. Make a test forum and play around with all the features and what you can do customization wise. It may be MyBB, but its definitely a better alternative to this mess going on here. So far i find their tech support very helpful and nice.

Check it out, it cant be any worse then this crap.

My forum seems to be running ok past few days...no errors, images and logo showing constant....knock ojn wood.. Im on Firefox browser.....Sorry if Im braggin!!!!!! LMFAO.

I also faces such problem while loading the images. i firstly think that problem arises with my system but I searches online and ask for the help to It support services. They help me a lot in making processing or saying in helping to load images.

Just for reference to all support/mods/staff/developers - this is happening to lots of people. Deception's comment of it appearing more "severe" for the OP of that thread made me think that perhaps the message has still not got through, so...


403 errors - happen all the time, all users, any link clicked, totally random, multiple instances per link.

Just in case you were in doubt. What was described on the other thread is not "more severe" it is the same for all of us.

Just adding my weight to this. As with others, my members are having trouble logging in, getting frequent error messages etc. Is this any nearer getting sorted out?

well ive transfered away from ff now and having great fun with the add-ons mods and no errors

where have you transferred too???

im with hostgator at the mo and cant say anything against them. there live chat is great and everything went smoothly. but as i took the monthly plan i can change whenever i want

the test site im using to play with installs to make sure there right before going on my real forum is http://paultest.hostei.com/ if you want to have a look but it is work in progress

aghh ok mate,, not looking to pay for it just yet as my forum isnt really busy enough for that as its only been on the go a few weeks so still lacking in members,, i'll hold out here for a wee while longer but if it doesn't get sorted i'll just start again somewhere more reliable and hope that my members come with me.
