Post Paid to have ads removed, they have returned ....
I paid to have the ads removed from our forums. The first month they were gone. The automatic payement cleared for the 2nd month yet the ads came back anyway. Now i have e-mailed suuport and have no response. Its been over a day with the ads and some of our members report antivirus attacks coming from some of the ads. We were about to spend the 15$ for a domain name but now im not sure!

Hello,
If you go to the Upgrades tab in your ACP, what price does AD-Removal state? Is it more than what you paid?

No, I paid the 4.95 a month and that option is not visible. The automatic payment was taken though. I assume it isnt visible to upgrade since i already have it.

Hello nightworm,
I apologize for the inconvenience. Please e-mail billing@freeforums.org with an explanation of your issue, forum URL and transaction ID/ name on credit card used to purchase the upgrade and they'll be able to sort it out for you from there.
Please allow 2-3 working days for a response.

In the meantime, if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask and we'll be happy to help :)

Post Re: Paid to have ads removed, they have returned ....
Well, i have contacted the billings people and they returned one message saying i gave them a bad transaction ID. I sent the proper info again this time with an entire ctrl-c of my pay-pal invoice. That was over 3 days ago and the stupid ads are still appearing. I have a major event using this forum launching this week and its annoying as hell since I told everyone they would be gone by now (and they had been gone for the last month) Some of these ads do not play well a few of my members Anti-virus software. This is really starting to make me think again about our forum plans. We were planning on getting a domain name and upgrading the features on Friday(yesterday). This has been a terrible experience. On my first post you should have had someone take care of this problem. STILL NOT RESOLVED

Hello,
Working days are Monday-Friday, when did you send the reply to billing@freeforums.org (and what time?)
