Hello,
Although it may seem like a silly question, it has to be asked - are you checking the correct e-mail?
If so, have you checked the junk/spam folders?

I appear to be having the same problem - I know somebody has registered, they have told me, but I haven't received anything to enable me to approve them. As my forum is by invite only I need to be able to choose who is on and who isn't.

Hi there,

Just an FYI, the e-mails are sent to all administrator's personal e-mails (i.e. the e-mail in the User Control Panel).

In the mean time, you can manually activate users in the Advanced Admin Panel -> Users and Groups -> Inactive Users -> Tick mark names -> Activate (from drop-down-menu).

Post Re: Administrator Not Receiving Emails to Activate
I have been encounreing the same problem for several months now (and previously logged in this Support forum.) My forum has five Administrators and in most cases, only two or three of them receive the auto-generated email re new registrations, and not always the same two or three. I set up the forum and was originally the only Adminstrator but now I seem to be the one who is being missed out most often. YES, I have checked my spam and junk boxes and filters. The email message is NOT being sent to ALL Administrators.

Hello,

Some email providers may block the emails before it even gets to your mail, it's a possibility as we've had issues similar to it in the past.

Post Re: Administrator Not Receiving Emails to Activate
I do not think that it is my email provider (and those of the other administrators) who is blocking the new registration messages we ALL should be receiving. The system generated emails are headed as having come from my own personal email address so I don't think the problem lies there. I frequently have copies of sent emails automatically sent to own email address (for verification purposes) and they NEVER get blocked so I don't see why those from freeforums should be. Our five Administrators have all been asked to check their Spam folders for missing messages but none are ever found. It appears that only one of the five ever get an email re new registrations.

Good day,

When it comes to E-Mails being blocked there is no rhyme or reason. There's no way of knowing if that's what's causing it unless you try it. I would suggest trying a new Mail Provider temporarily to see if that helps, preferably either Gmail or Yahoo.
