Post Moderator queue removed issue
Hello
A member on my forum Solo21 was banned for a while by i.p, I recently unbanned his i.p and he came back, I put his account on moderator queue, and then a couple of days ago I removed it from his account. But his posts are still needing to be approved even though he does not have moderator queue anymore.

What make the issue even more confusing is that he has actually got the same permissions as a normal member.

Please help me get this resolved ASAP!

Thanks in advance
Coaster

Hello,

Permissions can be set through many ways. You will have to make sure it is set correctly through all of those ways. You can 'View the user permissions' through his profile.

If you have added him to some kind of 'banned' or 'queue' group, make sure he is removed from those group.
Make sure his 'User Permissions' are set correctly for his specific user.
Make sure his 'User Forum Permissions' are set correctly for this specific user and all forums.
Make sure he is not in any other group that dissallows him to post.

This is what I can think up for now. It is a permissions issue, something you've not 'undone' yet.

Cheers,

But I have done everything that you have suggested.
He is the Registered user group, with normal registered user permissions.

Hello,

Have you made sure that his personal forum permission: User' Forum Permission. That has to be made sure! Otherwise go to 'Manage Users', select this user and then in the drop down menu select 'Permissions', click on Advanced Permissions and it should show a 'Green' or a 'Red' if the user is allowed to or not, see if the user is allowed to post without queue. Make a screenshot of it and post it here please.

Regards,

Hi there,

When you put him on this 'queue' he was placed into the "Newly Registered Users" group. As such, he was forbade from posting without approval. This is the default setting for the "Newly Registered Users" group. Simply remove this user from this group and all will be well.
