 Custom Emails Via FreeForums? Hey, I was wondering if there was a way to get custom email addresses via FreeForums? I know that there are a lot of different website hosts that have to give you the information in order for them to create a custom email address (like the info it takes to log into Yahoo). I'm talking about a email hosted from my website (i.e. administrator@novastory.net). Is there any way to do this? If so, could I get the info in order to do this? Thanks.  ~Dylan

Re: Custom Emails Via FreeForums? Good day, I'm sorry, but with Free Hosting that is not possible. You would need Advanced Hosting, which is either $8.95 a month or $66 annually.

Advanced Hosting takes you away from the FreeForums.org system and onto a full version of the forum software (phpBB) and the latest version (3.0.10). This then enables you to get right into the script of the forum and make changes such as installing new modifications and styles etc.
So no, you cannot have both Premium and Advanced Hosting because Advanced Hosting transferrs your forum to another host. It's that new host that enables you to use a custom e-mail address for your domain name.

Re: Custom Emails Via FreeForums? Hello, Yes, you'd be able to install modifications to your forum. Each item (shop, points, reputation etc.) are modifications that require installing onto your forum to work. If you're not sure you can do it yourself, email advanced@freeforums.org for a quote
