Post How do I edit and change an installed theme?
I did install a theme but I do not like the top blue box, and some borders, and colors.
Is there a way I can edit an installed theme?

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to edit a style like that. A user would need to be on Advanced Hosting (http://www.freeforums.org/advanced.php) to be able to do that.

Then what's the best way to embed my forum in my own website?

Hello,

Embedding a forum into your own website is a hard coding process and not something for users unfamilar with coding. I believe it uses high-end iframe coding tags, which brings a long quite a lot of security risks to your forum and website. So I highly suggest to not 'embed' your forum into your website. I would suggest to have it either simply linked to and thus on a different URL or to simply use the iPortal as your website instead.

Regards,

Hello,
The best way to embed your forum would be to upgrade to Advanced Hosting where you'll be able to construct a site around the forum, or place the forum inside a website... You'll have complete 100% access to the fileset and database, so you'll also be able to make certain style changes like a "Home" button, for example.

Alternatively, you could park a subdomain to your forum and use the domain on another website. Simply use links on the other website to link to your forum.
