 Problem with ranks and groups
Hi,basically i have few problems. The one is,that i actually can not set a rank image to a group. Before i could, but now...i create a group and i dont have this option, only to set avatar. The second is,that those groups i have added are not listed in the Legened. The third is,that when i set a group colour, users that are in that group dont have it.Their color is just white/green.And the colour is set to blue for example. Thanks in advance, the website is a forum of text-only game that im making in BATH

Re: Problem with ranks and groups
Hello,
1. You have to upload a rank image first, then add it too the group. Head over your ACP -> Users and Groups -> 'Users' Tab, and the last one is called 'Ranks'. Note while creating a rank, leave 'Set as special rank' to yes, if this rank is for a group, not based on post count.
OK, now that you have your ranks all set up, now we are going to add them to your groups. ACP -> Users and Groups -> 'Groups' Tab, and Manage Groups. Now, find the group you want to add the rank on, and click the little tools icon. Now find 'Group Wide Settings', its the 3rd category down, and now where it says 'Group Rank:', move your cursor over to the right, and hit the drop down menu, and choose the rank for that group.
2. How to get groups listed in the legend, ACP -> Users and Groups -> 'Groups' Tab, and Manage Groups. Find the group you want to add to the legend, click the little tools icon, and find 'Group wide option', its the second category. Now look for 'Display in legend:', Move your cursor to the right, and tick the box. Now that group will be displayed in the legend!
3. Adding color to users in a group. Assuming you already have them added to a group, lets take Moderators group for example. Find the 'Moderators' group, now click the little peoples icon, Tick the checkbox next to all the members names that you want to have the moderators color, now click the little drop down menu next to the 'Submit' button, and click on, 'Make group default for member', now click submit. And there you go!
