Over the past 16 months I have had nothing but help from you experts here. No matter how simple my problem is, someone always offers assistance promptly. I have come a long way with my own forum due to the help given to me by the team here; nobody has ever treated me like a dummy - you have all assisted with great patience and kindness.

So THANK YOU, particularly Jackal, Sabre, Wickett and Subliminal.

Thanks for giving me the chance to have a forum again for Pirates of the Caribbean and other fun things.

I really appreciate the ability to be able to have a nice, reliable, hassle-free host for my forum, as opposed to some of the other nightmarish programs I tried out before finding you.

Now if you choose to host AH yourself, I would be practically on CLOUD 9!

Just wanted to take a moment to personally thank Jackal for his recent work on our forums.
We switched over to advanced hosting quite a while ago and while I have been learning a great deal about how to manage and modify our boards, when it came time for an update to the newest version, I knew enough to know I was in over my head and called in the experts before I screwed something up
The boards were updated in a matter of minutes and our down time was minimal and went largely unnoticed.
I knew when I chose freeforums.org to begin my forum managing days that I made the right decision and it's the continued effort and commitment of those here like Jackal that remind me everyday that I made the right choice.

I'm a relative noob on Freeforums.org, but an old hand - relatively speaking - in terms of running forums, and I have to say that without a doubt Freeforums surpasses it's rival providers by a "country mile" (or three).

Now obviously there will be problems now and again, and it's a free service to boot, so peak time traffic et cetera will doubtless cause me the odd admin headache down the line - as it does all of you on here trying your best to ensure Freeforums runs smoothly - but from what I've seen so far, both in terms of the superb customizability of the software, and the support network on here, I'm hugely impressed. And as I say, I'm not some idealistic romantic who expects everything to run perfectly all the time, just a realist, who happens to think that what's available on here is first class.

The last free provider I was with - I'll not name-drop - had such a shoddy free service that, despite wanting to grow my forum and then upgrade for better options, I was both held back in growing the forum and disinclined to even consider the paying service. Not so here.

In addition, support forums like this one are very hard going, and largely thankless - as any experienced admin knows - so I would also (quite sincerely) like to thank all of you at Freeforums for doing such a sterling job.

My thanks go to Freeforums for allowing me to have a web presence on the web. My 3D modeling forum is doing quite well, and I love posting new modeling information, hosting some free modeling tools, and just having fun sharing information with other modeling hobbyists around the world via the web. Thanks again folks for helping to connect people via shared interests.

There is something I need to say. Not everyone understands the blood, sweet, and tears you guys go through to visit an internet forum daily and tell people how to fix their own forums. You guys are important for the balance of nature. I mean in my book it's like this:

Actors > Anime/Manga > God > Teachers > Latino tilta world carnival operators > Freeforums Support Staff > Everyone else who ever existed
