 Re: Testimonials Page
I never did this believe it or not, so I'll go ahead and do it now. 1) Paul Omer 2) Generally Wickett, but P.A.M. on here. 3) WiiRiiport.com4) Sorry, don't post pictures of myself online. Being Support Staff it's kind of odd to pump up the service, however it's been really easy and fun to run Wii Riiport simply because of the service. There's loads of good mods to use, so the possibilities are nearly endless.

A professional-looking site, an entire support forum, and the no-ads special, i immediately said YES! so here i am with a good forum and a very pleased me. You guys are the best, both in features, price (or lack thereof), and tech support even for some of my stupid forums. This is a big learning curve for me (ive never administrated a forum), and freeforum.org made it painless and i recommend them to newbies and advanced users alike! i think my next thing would be to upgrade to ditching the freeforums.org part of the web address and changing it to psurepair.org or something! thanks!

1) Clive Stevens 2) Crazy Clive (yes I am crazy)3) www.loonys.org4) 5) A small group of friends were using ebay community groups to get together and raise money for different good causes. When ebay started to mess around with their UK groups, we needed to find a new home. After spending some time looking for a new home I found freeforums, a simple to use site, that gave us what we needed. We are happy with what we have to play with, with good support when needed.

1. Daniel Chase 2. dare 3. http://bkrn.freeforums.org4. 5. Freeforums.org not only host one of my favorite podcast's forums ( Citizen Radio!), but also the forum I manage unofficially for my number one favorite show in the whole world, The Barry Kirkey Radio Show! (Better than stern or your money back!) Freeforums.org is a truly great service to mankind and humanity. I've always found their service to work fantastically well in terms of up-time, and support even though they're not currently making a dime from me nor countless others. Their karma is flowing with good things. I can feel it. Join the sunny side of jovial and funny support forums for free! Thank you freeforums.org team! You are unnamed heroes in my book (unless you actually have your names written somewhere that I didn't bother to look! If so oops and thank you!)

 Re: Testimonials Page
1) Full name (optional)2) Online nicknameCassandra and Kasha 3) Forum domainhttp://kasha.freeforums.org/index.php4) Picture of yourself (optional) 5) TestimonialI joined thinking that this was great because it has free arcade and an okay selection of themes to make your forum look unique. But then first thing I noticed was that when checking out new members (I always check against black lists so I can block known spammers before they ever spam depending on the last date spam was seen by that IP or email address) and I noticed that I can NOT see IP addresses even as admin which is dumb! No other free forum does that to admins! So that was my first let down. Then I noticed something else that was brought to the co-admins attention and then to mine. When people register (of course there are ads and that is expected on EVERY free forum and we accept that no problem) people see a registration ad at the end of their registration. No where does it say registration is complete and people think that this is a mandatory part of registration. People feel deceived and take it out on the admins.. Then I thought about upgrading to get rid of ads but then I found out that does NOT include the registration ads and that everytime you ask about ads they say they get rid of all because they do not consider the registration ads as ads. So it is a run around and very unclear. I feel deceived but that is not the worst part. The worst part is that when new people register they get a page ad (they say is not an ad) that looks as if it is part of the registration and asks for real full name and phone number. With things on the net being full of scams members are scared and instead do not finish their registration. Well at least they think they don't but then check their email and see an email from me ( because registration did go through) and then I get them emailing me saying they do not want to be spammed by me and no longer want to be on my site because they think I am a scammer because of that ads. Not good at all. When I try to suggest that freeforums.org at least put something saying that registration is successfully complete and then show the registration ad (the one they say is not an ad and can be easily skipped even though trying 5 times only just refreshes the page for many of my potential members) but FreeForums.org is unwilling to do that and just repeat their cookie cutter statement of that it is not an ad and can just be skipped. No where does it say it can be skipped and it is nice of them to say in the forum but what about on my forum where the registration ad is? There should be something there! No member is expected to come register on this support forum just to find out if they have to fill out the registration ad or not. It should not work that way and it total BS. And just now I noticed a new issue. I can't log into administration if I use a different browser (I wanted to stop using Firefox and use Chrome instead but had to go back to Firefox as administration kept saying my password was incorrect. But I tripled checked and logged in Firefox and it was correct as it worked there so I figure FreeForums.org doesn't like it if you switch browsers.. Don't know .. don't understand that but just what I noticed. So my rating is zero stars due to lack of good tech support and listening skills. Yes I am actually not blaming the ads. It is the lack of negotiations and listening skills on the part of FreeForums.org who could easily listen and realize there is no harm in putting above the registration ad that registration is complete. Simple as that. Will only positive reviews be put on or all? All would be more real than only positive. I tend to not believe reviews that are on the same site itself that is being reviewed in general but on other sites reviewing a site because they tend to be biased..

 Re: Testimonials Page
Hello, You can view the IP address a user registered with by going into Manage Users in the Advanced ACP. Also, when a user makes a post, you can click the post details button and view the IP address used to make that post. The last times I checked, the registration ads are clearly marked as ads, and are optional to fill out. http://kb.freeforums.org/questions/103/Registration+AdsYou can login to the admin if you switch browsers, I've done it plenty of times, and there aren't any issues with it. I use Google Chrome currently (previously used FireFox) and have had no issues with either of them logging into a forum.

 Re: Testimonials Page
Freeforums.org has always been my first choice. I started using the service years ago. One of my favourite things is that the staff here is easy to relate to; you hardly ever see that. I also like Jackal's avatar. This improves my overall opinion of the company.

Very little negativity around. I can appreciate that. I've found more success with FF.org then any other forum service provider. I hope FF.org grows and gets bigger. I'm also looking forward to innovation produced by FF.org.

 Re: Testimonials Page
I notice there are no decent testimonials on here for a while... 1) Full name (optional) Dougie Gunning 2) Online nickname Dougie 3) Forum domain http://www.scottishamateurfootballforum.com4) Picture of yourself (optional) Pass 5) Testimonial Joined freeforums nearly 3 years ago and have been very active ever since. As someone who has limited technical knowledge I have found it exceptionally easy to use, learn and understand. The platform offers many options and the very few times I have had to ask for help it is sorted in a very short period of time. My forum is incredibly active and features on leaderboards quite regularly - I would not have achieved this without the tools and platform freeforums.org provide, along with the support of the staff here. I also have been dealing directly with Crowdgather the parent company recently about one or two things relating to my forum and I would also like to point out that the guys who run Crowdgather are an exceptional bunch who really value the time us little people are putting into our forums. Having dealt with them for over a month now they are genuinly interested in the success of the forums within their network. This gives me immeasurable confidence in Freeforums, Crowdgather and any other subsidiary companies. All the best, Dougie

1) Neil Schmidt 2) Mudflappus 3) Lowbudget.freeforums.org
5) I needed a central location where the members of my band Low Budget could share information and ideas. After trying to decipher and create forums on three different sites I found FreeForums.org. I had a forum (complete with all of the topic headers) relevant to a band up and running in less than five minutes. The instructions and interface are intuitive and very easy to use. Thanks for creating such an easy yet powerful tool to disseminate information!
