I would love if freeforums can install this extension or if it is possible to all freeforum users

I checked out that link you gave me. The mod doesn't look iphone friendly

Either way, it would be a good plugin for freeforum users, I hope freeforums consider it and check it out throughly to see if it can be implemented.

Yeah, think I'd go with this one.

Price is fine---don't mind paying nominal fee but would want to try it out first--even at that price. The $2.99's add up for stuff you wind up never using.

That is a problem this is a free service and we would want all installed MODs to be free. Of course they could add this to the Premium Package but that is probably not going to happen as not everyone wants this MOD.

I have only poked around a bit with Tapatalk, but my users like the idea of accessing my forum from the iPhone. I propose giving Tapatalk a try.

It will cost at least 3 dollars to use the post version of the app( if you want to download the app) and the read only is free, but you can easily set It up in a short bit, it only takes a few minutes to install the plug in, so if you just TRY, it can be made as a free or premium mod, many people dream of making a mobile version of their site, and this would fulfill it, So I agree with this. You can download the RO version to try it.

Still... It costs FreeForums nothing. Viewers (members) may use the free App on their iPhone OR upgrade to the $3 App _on_their_iPhone_. It still costs FreeForums nothing. (Just to be clear

Having said all that - there are other iPhone browsers out there too. Has anyone had experience with:
Forum Runner
phpBB Forums Pro (no plugin required - I will give this a try)
TouchBB - (requires plugin)
Tapatalk (requires plugin)
Other? ...

I do not think TouchBB or forum runner would work as well, I used them both and I think Tapatalk is better than them both. It is more organized and easier to set up( in my opinion.)

OK, I just tried out the Forums Pro App and it seems to work fine for browsing and posting. _No_Plugins_Required

Well according to the ratings, it is 1 and a half stars on that app, it is reported to have issues.. I think if any, tapatalk would work better, as it has better ratings. Tapatalk would be easier to use, it just needs a LITTLE work from division and it could work out hopefully, PBZ crashes all the time on my iPod. So a mobile add-on for freeforums would be better.

Hmm - worked ok for my new forum (DCCA) but got a 'blank' when trying to view this forum (Support). odd...

Fourms pro did say that the way it was formatted may not work on some sites, That is probably why it is a 1 star rating, Still, I think if Freeforums were to install a network plug in, something like Tapatalk would be smoother, faster, and reliable.

ehMac.ca just installed Tapatalk - so now I have a chance to try it out as an end-user on a forum I read regularly. I will see if it is that much better than Forums Pro.

I saw that they made a Poll in the ACP. I hope they make the freeforums.org network on Tapatalk (Since all the other apps are either slow, unoffical, not containing enough fourms, very low ratings, ETC.) A added thing out there is maybe you should add a poll deciding WHICH app to place it on, (Or better yet, ALL famous apps that work with PHBB on the app store,)

I have had a chance, now, to try a number of iPhone apps.

TapaTalk is fast, solid, and a better user experience than the others.

While Forums Pro works for freeforums.org, it is a little flakey and lacks nice bits like 'Latest' posts and 'Search'.

I'd be another one to support tapatalk - I dont personally use it but the amount of members I've had asking for it is growing as more and more of them start using it on their smart phones
