I'm sure you have been asked this time & time again, but i would like to put it to you once more..
"Hide link till thanked"I am on my second forum to date
and i can see the one im running at the moment going under like the first one
and the reason for this is members getting hacked off for spending a lot of their time and effort uploading links for other members to download from them without leaving any thanks, Im running a Newly Registered users a Registered users Members & a VIP section all within the one im running now
New members are placed in the Newly Registered users forum to show me they sign up to share and once im satisfied, i then move them to the Registered users forum, and if they are moved in to the VIP i have a voting system where all my VIP members vote Yes or No in a poll on the member im question
So as you can see i run a tight forum but im still getting complaints about not getting thanked from my members...
So is there any chance, now or in the future there will be a bbcode so members have to thank posters before the link is shown
Or can something be made up to enable us to do such a thing
I did make a simple url link up with the properties from my thanks on the post - but i never directed them to the link, member thought they where clicking the download link but all they where doing was leaving a thanks on the post
