In a nutshell:
You cannot currently add a background to your pages. This would require custom code edits with the Advanced Hosting upgrade.

I cannot say whether this is something that may be implemented in the future, but generally for something to be implemented into the system we need a majority of customers wanting the item. We have near (or even over) a million active forums hosted on our system so those of you who post here on the support forum represent a very small proportion of members.

As always, feedback is valued by our customers and we are always looking at ways we can improve our services to you. The admins read through every topic in this forum and if it is something they think can be implemented into the system I'm sure they'll look into it and let us know.

So will you guys ever add the ability to add a background? What happened too this company? Last year it was very outstanding with updates every single month and also contests for users to win upgrades? What happened to that?

We didn't necessarily add new things each month and as we've said, we don't know if this will be something we ever offer. With enough interest in a particular feature, the admins will certainly consider adding it.
There are lots of other things that happen behind the scenes that have to be considered, also. I expect the tech team are focusing on squashing out bugs in the system at the moment, rather than adding new features. I'm sure once they've gotten to the stage where they are happy we can start rolling out new features more often.

So how much longer till we get updates? It's been longer than a year already.

We have had updates recently, but as I said the tech team are working on fixing current issues. We have some good features planned to be added but first we have to make sure we squash out all the existing bugs first.

How long will all the bugs be fixed? And when will the new features be out? Also, what "features" are you guys coming up with?

Unfortunately we cannot just click our fingers and watch things fix themselves, the tech team have to put a lot of manhours into keeping the system running as well as working one by one on each issue (some of them I don't even know about). Once the current issues are squashed out, which there is no ETA for as previously said, we will start to add new features to the forums again.

I'm sure closer towards their release we'll let everybody know what's going on. The problem with saying, "In 4 months time we're going to do this..." is 4 months is a lot of time for something to go wrong or an unexpected issue to arise. It's a lot easier to have things ready to go and then set a release date for them.

Also, how do you remove the ability of having SIGNATURES on forums?
