 Some Questions About FreeForums
I just have a few questions.
1. There are no ads on my forums, despite having the option to buy the upgrade to remove them. I know it is not the mod, everybody is reporting the same thing. Does this mean I can load ads myself? I would like to have adsense banners on my forum to help create income for upgrades.
2. Although I do not plan on moving to a new host in the near future, when it is time to move due to speed issues (it is a free host, I don't expect it to handle mass amounts of traffic), will all my mods and arcade games be transferable? I just don't know if that is only handled by you guys.
3. What is an average level of traffic to the point of which forum slowdown will occur?
That is all, if somebody could please answer, it would be appreciated. Also, so far, I am having an extremely pleasant experience. You guys at FreeForums are great.

 Re: Some Questions About FreeForums
The only way you could add Ads yourself is if you upgrade to "Advanced Hosting" and install a MOD that could advertise on your forum. I'm not sure why the Ads are not showing up on your forum though..
I don't think that you will have speed issues at all. These Free Forums has a LOT of space of them. Besides, in most cases you'll most likely upgrade once you get a LOT of traffic. If you do decide to transfer, they will not move over your MODs unless you buy the MOD pack with "Advanced Hosting" (They will move all your MODs including adding a few more in the MOD package).

 Re: Some Questions About FreeForums
I am very interested in the advanced hosting, however the 5MB database thing seems a bit strange :/, that is a bit small, don't you think? If by default there is unlimited space, why would you want to downgrade to a 5mb database?

 Re: Some Questions About FreeForums
5MB isn't that much, are you sure you read right?. Now, I have no clue how much you can store on a FF.org hosted forum, but when you upgrade to Advanced Hosting by HostGator, you can choose from 3 different, but they all have unlimited disk space and band width on them. Nevertheless, I don't think you would fill up all of the database unless you have mass amounts of members posting daily for a few years really. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. I just upgraded my community tonight to "Advanced Hosting" and I am not worried about space at all.

 Re: Some Questions About FreeForums
Hello, We have no limits for forum size but the 5mb limit for transferring to Advanced Hosting is set in stone and unfortunately cannot be changed. To find out the size of your database please e-mail advanced@freeforums.org and they'll get back to you in 2-3 working days (Monday-Friday). As for Advanced Hosting, that also has unlimited storage and bandwidth.

 Re: Some Questions About FreeForums
Hello, As I said, please e-mail advanced@freeforums.org asking them what the size of your database is. No database can be 0mb large on an active forum, this is simply disabled in your ACP because of the way the system is set up.
