This is certainly a feature that has become more popular as Social Networks have dominated the web. At the moment as far as I am aware there aren't any plans to introduce such a feature, but I expect somewhere in the future something is likely to be planned.

Make the admin/mod group their default group. Tip. Categories help separate forums into (literally, categories). Try using them to divide up your forums if they are all together.
