Please tell me do you know any website i could increas traffic on my forum? I only came accros this website called easyhits4you. It allowed other people to check out your website in exchange for you checking their website. heres the link if anyone is interested in checking it out.

i dont think these really work, people just check out the website, most of them might not be interested in joining or posting, just the same as your probably not interested in joining theirs. in the end, all that brings is new page views and stuff, and only the admins really see that, and you look at it and know "oh, the traffic thing worked" and not "look how successful my forum is, there have been thousands of page views today".

i would rather have good content and do advertising in other ways, and have genuine people finding the forum and looking cause they want to, not cause they have to, and having loads of these people join and post a lot.

Well i guess you are right, but for some people it might just work fine. Not everybody use their forum for pure information or chats. Some people/forum owners/ use their forum to advertise products they want to sell or services they provide. In that case it is a good site to use. You can easyli specify which country (and its smaller part you are interested in) to advertise your forum and how to do so. Since im only interested in the Netherlands i put it there and from that moment im geting traffic only from the Netherlands users. Im happy with it cos for 3 days of using i had over 120 more views what i believe turned into 2 new users.

But as u know it all depend on the forum owner. Nobody is pushed to do anything, it is just another option and anyone can make their own decision to use it or not

It's all bogus. These sites are developed to increase traffic to the ad website and not yours. The "easyhits4U" web site is all about making advertising revenue for themselves from traffic to their web site and not your web site.

The only way to increase traffic to your web site is the old fashioned way, "Advertise". Get your banner and links out on other web sites yourself one by one. You can either pay for advertising on other web sites or find free places to put your links on other web sites like my web site of coarse.

You can pick up some traffic from Twitter if you want to Twitter all day. I myself prefer to find places to put stationary links and banners and Twitter once in awhile. It takes hundreds of links on other web sites to generate steady traffic to yours. Paid advertising is the best but you can find free places. I don't mess with "Web Directories" because the search engine page bots don't crawl them and that's what you are after. Get the search engine page bots to crawl your links on other web sites. The search engines flag the web directories and don't crawl them at all because it would clog up the internet with to much of the same stuff and their are thousands upon thousands of web directories on the net with the same ol web sites.

Best way is to find private web sites starting with my forum and start putting links on them "One by One".

Jesus Christ, is it so hard to understand that "your" way mine not be the best way for everybody? I do not agree with you as for 3 month of using my forum i had almost no traffic on my site with some 10 new visitorsper day. Now after a 5 days of using that easyhits4u i had avarage 35 visits and i can see where they all come from and can see did someone was interesting in my site or not and im telling you that within 3 days i gained 3 new users while before it would take 3 weeks. I am not saying you have to use it! But deffinitaly it is a goog way to increas traffic and IF YOU SET ThE OPTIONS ON EASYhITS4U IT WILL WORK JUST FINE!

btw. what if someone does not use facepoop or twitter or any other messanger? placing a signature links and banners does not allways works and i know cos i have been doing it for a very long time.

I did try all the "Fast Traffic" web sites when I first started out selling online years ago. It was all bogus and didn't produce. I used alot of these traffic and banner exchange sites and got nothing. I signed up on alot of web directories and got "Nothing".

After I did my homework I found out you had to: "Send Them Traffic" before you got any traffic back. If you get hooked up with the banner exchange B.S. you have to send them 2 web site hits before they showed your banner 1 time on a web site that "Doesn't Get Traffic". It's called 2 for 1 exchange. Lots are 3 for 1 exchange where your web site gets your banner shown 1 time on a web site that doesn't get traffic if you send them 3 actual guests.

Now, EasyHits4U is a 1 for 1 web surfing site where you get a click for every web site you click. This is a "FALSE" traffic web site where web site owners surf each others web sites with no intention of registering. Of coarse you got some registrations. All spammers. Don't lie to me. You click a members link and another member will click your link. You have to click 1000 links a day to have any affect on search engine ranking. That's all this site is for is to improve your search engine ranking. Clicking 1000 links a day is alot of time and boring work just to get 1000 clicks back on your site from other web site owners trying to improve their search engine ranking. "THIS DOESN'T WORK!" It's false engineered traffic and if you stop clicking the 1000 links a day you go back to where you were before you started.

The only thing that works properly is taking the time to get your links on good websites. Web directories suck because Google page bots don't crawl them even though some web directories state their web directory is bot friendly. The search engines don't want to bloat the internet with the gazillions of links on web directories and their are gazillions of web directories.

Get 1000 links on good web sites one by one over time and you will see you guest traffic climb without you having to do any clicking. Make friends on the web (hard to do) and exchange links.

P.S. The first 3 months of your web site wasn't even indexed on the search engines. Have you even submitted your site to the search engines to be indexed yet? I don't know if Free forums submits sites for indexing. Some free hosts do but not all.

Some day you will learn. Hopefully sooner than later.

Easyhits4U claims joining their web site and surfing other members web sites will improve your search engine ranking. "This Is False". Search engine ranking is only improved by how many links to your web site are on other web sites.

My forum is set up for people to leave links on to improve traffic to their web sites. I do not see your link on my web site so there's something wrong with that picture since you are pushing this webpole site you have.

I tried a few banner exchanges and click trading sites. None of them produced results. I get more traffic even though not alot from smaller web sites that allow me to install my permanent link on them.

To find a harvest on the internet when every computer owner has a web site and is looking to attract the same traffic you want to their web site gets slim if you can find a place to harvest at all.

If you really want active users to join your forum, it must have the content that they want. Sure you can use traffic sites and people might actually register but I doubt they will stay active for long.

Where do you get visitors? Either you start being active with other forums and reference your own to them (Do not spam) or you do SEO.

What I mean about forums is for you to join a slightly different forum and talk about something. Then tell the users something like,"You know what, we have talked about this in my forum, check it here [click]."

I'm on lots of forums, but I hesitate to plug my forums on other sites because some of them frown on that. I'm thinking about posting youtube vids talking about my forums because I know the right people that have the same hobbies are there. What do you guys think about the post for post thing that people do here? I have a thread where I offered to do this, but do you guys think it works?

-update your site everyday
-use keywords that will give you more traffic, try to use google adwords..
-comment on any blogs, forums or anything site that will let you promote your own..
-use social media sites such as twitter (make sure you have more followers) tweet something relevant that will lead to your followers to visit your site (regularly as possible).
