I have been having these 2 issues for some time as well as notifications not being sent out as well for post and so on.
As for the Image not loading issue it has to do with attached images in posts and Icons on main page of forum for topics not showing all of the time. Here is a screenshot of what I am referring to:


Also while browsing the forum from time to time I will get a white page with this error:


Please help me fix these issues for they have been ongoing for some time and I have been unable to resolve them on my own. Thank you in advance for your help with this issue.

I had a friend tell me part of the issue could be do to the PHP memory limit, I am not sure what mine is set to but he stated increasing the limit from 64MB to 512MB would solve these types of issue as far as the white error page and images not loading. If you could verify or let me know what my limit is currently set to and let me know if this would fix the issue. Thank you for you help with this.

As for the error message you are receiving, is this still occurring for you? If so, when was the last time it happened?

Thank you for the responce, well the error message I am still getting, I just went to the web page and the initial page loaded but when I went to click on view active topics I got this error:


It does not matter if I am logged into the forum or not, it will come up randomly.

I am also having both issue's at the moment. Started about a week ago.
Especially the access error is trating to get annoying. Appreciate all you guys do to,solve these things.

I am also getting the Forbidden Error message as well when i try to click on one of my forums of my forum index that lists all the forums on the board. Please fix it.

It seems it could well be a php re-direct causing the forbidden message.

I am new to the forums, but when I try to post photos using the [img] tag with photos from Flickr,
they do nor appear, there is only a broken link. Is this part of the problem the forum is experiencing,
or am I doing something else wrong?

This "forbidden" error is happening most of the time now when clicking on a forum section. It is getting far worse by the day.

Broken image links are wholly different problem than these in this topic.
Anyhow, Flickr and some other photo sharing sites might get you confused of what to copy/paste.
When you see an image in Flickr page and copy the text from your browsers address bar you get it wrong,
something like:


What you need is the address of that photo itself. Click the image to get the selection box with size choices or click the image with the second mouse button to get the image properties. Then, copy the address (ending with .jpg or some other valid image file format)

But it will only show one photo, with the others as inactive links, even though I've double-checked that the
links are exact and valid. I have things set, as far as I know, so that there are no limits on photos, including
# of photos in a post. I've checked all I know to check. Any suggestions?

Or is there some default in the software (doubtful) that limits to one img per post?

I am getting the message that says "you don't have permission to access /search.php on this server." It happens with all browsers and using win7 and ubuntu.

If I log out and then log back on it helps for a little bit after a few hours it happens again.

Just to help, it mainly happens on my ipad, on the pc the forbidden error barely occurs.
But on both the pics and icons hardly show.

My forum is also becoming almost unusable with no images and access denied!

This has been going on for quite some time now, any thoughts on when this can be solved?
What i find strange is that on an other freeforums forum i use every day it doesn't seem to have the issue? Are they on an other server or something?

Yeah, people havent posted for days on my site. Kind of getting to the ridiculous stage now. Its just turned into way to much work to try to get ONE post up. I agree its getting worse. I would think that this issue would have top priority by now.

I understand that I am not a paying customer, this is a free forum, but it does me no good even if it is free if no one can use my Forum, this needs to be fixed now. If there is no resolution soon I will have no choice but to move to a new Host. I hope you can fix this soon.

well looks like its spreading through the forums
ive tried different computers, different operating systems, 5 different browers, i just cant do anything, everytime i try changing pages im forbidden. as for chat well, soso logs in to chat all the time and inbetween that, connection error.
