Post Embed Free Forums
I've just created a new website and looking to embed my free forums to it that way users who click the forum link on my website don't actually leave the website but can access the forums. I have chosen a nice theme to match the website to a certain extent now I just need whatever html code to embed it. I've attempted to use frames (?) but that didn't work at all. I don't know if I did something wrong or what...

My website is currently unpublished until I can figure this out. Any suggestions?

Hello,

You can use the iFrame tags and place your forum within the body of your website on some page. I've done it before and it works okay:

http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_iframe.asp

You need to enable scrollbars :

Try this HTML :

<iframe src="http://guildunleashed.freeforums.org" height="800" width="600">Your browser does not support Iframes.</iframe>

Try this if it doesn't work try using geocities.ws for free hosting and try it there.

Try that it might override their CSS settings.

The problem: They use CSS to control your content.
The Fix: As Stated above.

Hi Summerbear5,

Are you still unable to scroll? If you are, try using a different web browser, such as Firefox. It's what I'm using and I am able to scroll.

Post Re: Embed Free Forums
yes that is what I'm talking about, I just wish it looked cleaner...

worst comes to worst if I can't get this looking at all better I'm going to not use freeforums, sad to say I love this website...I might also try creating it so when you click the forums it takes you off site...but I hate that you leave the website and can't get back unless you re-type in the main address...it also looks generic...

Looking for a seemless forums to embed into the website...

This coding looks very interesting.
I had considered making a weebly website, so if you can get this script nailed, and of course if you didn't mind me using it, it would be great if you could let me know :)

Thanks.

I just want to add mostly to Chien, I'm sorry I didn't notice this before but it might make this easier.

There is a button that says 'edit html/css'

I can't post this code and maybe you can insert the seemless code for the forum? Would that make it easier? Or should I take the current code and place is somewhere in the pages html/css section and how do I do that?
